Mrs. Nndivhaleni Matlabo, an exceptional media practitioner, entrepreneur, fashionista, You-tuber, mother, and wife – shares how she once was made to feel inadequate and less beautiful by society’s unfounded bogus constructs. Colour inferiority-superiority complex has conflated how people view themselves, with darker-shaded people at the receiving end, particularly women – beauty standards have been set to misrepresent other forms, shapes, and kinds of beauty, limiting beauty to a preconceived biased identity.

These things got “Leni Lenz” on her feet, taking charge to change the narrative – the Euphoria by Leni founder gave birth to “The Boldy You Brunch” – founded on a sense of purpose to build a safe space for women to connect and engage in meaningful and healthy solution-oriented dialogues that reignite confidence and realign purpose. “The Boldly You Brunch is a safe space where we will have conversations around beauty, fashion and purpose. We aim to empower everyone to embrace their authentic self, give you tools to pursue your passion and be part of a like minded community of supportive individuals”, says Mrs. Matlabo.
The first annual “The Boldly You Brunch” is happening on 10 August, at Blue Valley Golf Estate, Taste Restaurant, starting at 13:00. The event is a “wine and dine” conversational session with acclaimed speakers Dr Tumi, Senzekile M, and the likes of Ratile Mabitsela. With August being women’s month, it promises to be an auspicious occasion attended by prominent public figures and the greater society.
